Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do you accept Insurance?

We kindly inform you that we are not setup to accept insurance at this time. Instead, we offer out-of-network care for all services including individual and couples counseling, which can be a great choice if you’re looking for personalized treatment. This approach also offers you more flexibility, confidentiality, and control over your care. While we don't accept insurance payments directly, you might still be able to get partial reimbursement through your out-of-network benefits.

2. What are Out-of-network benefits and how do they work?

Out-of-network benefits are part of your health insurance plan that allow you to see providers who aren't contracted with your insurance company. Here’s how it works: when you see an out-of-network provider, you typically pay for the services upfront. Then, you can submit a claim to your insurance company for reimbursement. The amount you get back depends on your specific plan.

I know navigating insurance can be overwhelming, but I'm here to help you understand the process. If you have out-of-network benefits, it can be a great way to access specialized care that feels right for you while still getting some financial support from your insurance. Feel free to ask any questions along the way—I'm here to make this as smooth as possible for you.

3. Do you offer a sliding-scale fee?

Your mental health and overall well-being are our #1 priority, which is why we have a sliding scale option for a set number of clients that can demonstrate financial need. If you would like to know if you qualify, please reach out to us via email to determine if this could be an option for you.

4. What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, HSA / FSA cards, checks and cash.
